Bloomberg is reporting that at least three dozen bank branches will close their doors during the G20 summit next week.
Royal Bank will be reportedly closing eight branches including its headquarters from June 24 to 27, not surprising considering the institution was recently the target of a summit-related firebombing in the Glebe neighbourhood of Ottawa. TD, the Bank of Nova Scotia, the Bank of Montreal and CIBC will close at least 28 branches between them, and others have reduced their hours of operation.
