Skip to main content

The Muslim holy month devoted to dawn-to-dusk fasting, prayers, good deeds and abstinence from worldly pleasures culminated with the holiday of Eid al-Fitr this weekend. In many places, Eid is celebrated for up to three days and is a public holiday.
