Inside Ukraine: The Donetsk airport in ruins
Photographer Sergey Ponomarev tours the Donetsk airport, which is now controlled by pro-Russian rebel forces. The airport was the Ukrainian government’s last toehold in Donetsk until an intense, bloody battle in late January forced their troops to retreat.
