Health care reform, how big a deal is that?
U.S. President Barack Obama has taken the next step in his embrace of Vice-President Joe Biden's profane approval of the administration's landmark health care reform, now he's selling BFD T-shirts.
"This is a big fucking deal," Mr. Biden told President Barack Obama after introducing him at a White House ceremony to celebrate the passage of health care reform.
Mr. Biden appeared to be offering that perspective to Mr. Obama privately, but his remark was captured on audio and video.
The episode quickly got buzz on the Internet, and now visitors to Barackobama.com's online store can mark the passage of this hugely divisive piece of legislation by purchasing a shirt with the PG-13 acronym for Mr. Biden's sentiment (see image above). It comes in men's and women's sizes, retails for $25 (U.S.) but is only in one colour.
