Whether he's talking about how his wife Ann "drives a couple of Cadillacs" or making a $10,000 bet with a rival on the debate stage, Mitt Romney has a knack for delivering out-of-touch comments.
Here is a cheeky video inspired by the film The Artist and that aired on The Chris Matthews Show on MSNBC on Sunday morning basically imagining Mr. Romney as a silent film star.
"Much like the perfect silent picture star whose career was thwarted by the emergence of sound in cinema, Mitt Romney has stumbled when he's had to open his mouth," says the YouTube post.
It's all the more relevant this Monday morning after the film The Artist won a slew of Oscars, and perhaps even more relevant after Mr. Romney explained at the Daytona 500 on Sunday how he has some "great friends who are NASCAR team owners."
