Curt Vossen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Richardson International Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Sheldon to Senior Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2015.
Craig joined Richardson in 1997 as Assistant Controller. He has held various positions in the Finance division, including Controller – Ontario Region, Manager - Financial Reporting and Treasurer.
In his most recent role as Vice-President, Corporate Finance, Craig has been responsible for financial reporting, treasury and cash management, banking, tax and insurance. He also played an important role in arranging the financing for the company's acquisition of Agricore United assets in 2007 and Viterra assets and businesses in 2012.
Craig graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in Economics before completing his Chartered Accountant designation in 1996. He is actively involved in the community as Vice Chair of the Victoria Hospital Foundation Board, President of the Richmond Kings Community Centre and as a board member of the Southwood Golf & Country Club. Craig also chaired Richardson's United Way workplace campaign from 2009 to 2012.
