Jarislowsky Fraser Limited is pleased to welcome Dan Hanson, CFA, to the firm’s research team. Initially basedin New York, Mr. Hanson will co-manage the Firm’s U.S. investment portfolio.
Dan Hanson enjoys more than 20 years of experience in U.S. and global equities, and U.S. credit and mortgage securities. Most recently, he was managing director and portfolio manager at BlackRock, a U.S.-based asset management firm. He was also sole manager and architect of the sustainable large capitalization core portfolio.
Mr. Hanson is a member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and he is involved in a number of initiatives in the area of governance, corporate reporting and sustainable investing. He earned a BA, cum laude, in Economics and French from Middlebury College, and an MBA in Analytical Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.
