Egon Zehnder is pleased to announce that Edilson Camara has relocated to Toronto as Managing Partner, Canada.
Mr. Camara joined Egon Zehnder in 1999, where he became the Partner in charge of the Brazilian practice, with offices in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro. In 2010, he was additionally appointed to the Firm’s Global Executive Committee. He leads the Mining and Metals Practice in the Americas and has focused his client work over the past decade in the natural resources sector. He also leads the Firm’s Board/Non-Executive Directors Practice in Latin America. Mr. Camara started his career as a Business Analyst with Exxon Chemical Company and had a sequence of corporate and client facing responsibilities in Exxon’s downstream operations. Moving to the leading cement/building materials group Holcim in Brazil, he then led corporate functions including strategic planning, finance and marketing. He holds a BSc, Economics from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
