Faeron Trehearne, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Moneris Solutions Corporation
Moneris Solutions Corporation (Moneris) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Faeron Trehearne as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.
Faeron brings knowledge of traditional and evolving payment systems from her previous role as Associate Vice-President of Legal - Technology, Outsourcing and Direct Channels, at TD Bank Group. Faeron was accountable for the legal aspects of TD's mobile, online, phone and ATM channels. She acted as a key legal advisor on mobile payment initiatives and led a team with specialized knowledge of the mobile business.
Faeron will play an integral role in executing Moneris' strategy related to the delivery of multi-channel payment solutions. She will provide legal leadership, guidance and oversight of Moneris' ongoing operations. Faeron will lead a team that is accountable for all legal matters related to the Moneris business, including commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and governance matters, on a North American basis.
Faeron received her law degrees from the University of Windsor Law School and the University of Detroit Mercy Law School and articled as a law clerk to the late Mr. Justice Mark MacGuigan at the Federal Court of Appeal. She is called to the bar in Ontario and New York.
