Lynn Loewen, To the Board of Directors, Emera Inc.

John McLennan, Chairman, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynn Loewen, FCA, to the Board of Directors of Emera Inc.

Ms. Loewen is presently Chief  Operating Officer of Minogue Medical Inc., a health care organization based in Montreal, Quebec, specializing in the provision of medical technologies to facilities across Canada.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Loewen served as President of Expertech Network Installation Inc., and held financial leadership roles with Bell Canada Enterprises, as well as executive positions with Air Canada Jazz.

Ms. Loewen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 1986. She served on Mount Allison University's Board of Regents, where she was Chair, and also served as a member of the Advisory Board, Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies. Ms. Loewen has also served as a member of the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, holding positions as Chair of the Audit and Governance Committees.

Ms. Loewen lives in Montreal, Quebec.
