Jim Leech, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Teachers’), is pleased to announce the following change to the senior leadership of the fund’s Investment Division. This position continues to report to Neil Petroff, Executive Vice-President, Investments and Chief Investment Officer.
Wayne Kozun is the Senior Vice-President, responsible for Teachers’ Fixed Income & Alternative Investments portfolio, which includes Teachers’ global hedge funds. Mr. Kozun joined Teachers’ in 1995 and has held various positions including most recently Senior Vice-President, Public Equities. He holds a BESc from Western University, an MBA from the Ivey Business School and is a CFA charterholder.
With $129.5 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2012, Teachers’ is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund’s assets and administers the pensions of 303,000 active and retired Ontario teachers.
