Bremont Homes has completely finished an infill project in a wooded setting in Maple and is offering buyers closing times of between 60 days and four months.
The collection of 19 luxury freehold townhouses, called Dreamwood, is selling quickly, however. About 75 per cent have already been snatched up.
Located off Keele Street, north of Major Mackenzie Drive, the development has three decorated model homes that show the available floor plans, but potential buyers can tour any unit prior to purchasing one.
Units either face or back on to ponds, and they are situated along a private court so there is no through traffic.
Building with only four to six units feature brick facades with extra-large windows, as well as garages, double-door entrances, and, in some cases, covered balconies.
The open-concept layouts contain great rooms adjoining eat-in kitchens. Larger end units have central dining areas with three-sided fireplaces shared with a family room.Upstairs, there are laundry rooms with extra-tall cabinetry, as well as the bedrooms, including master suites with walk-in closets and private bathrooms.
Cold cellars and roughed-in three-piece bathrooms are included in the basement. Selected units have walkouts.
There are nine-foot ceilings and pot lights on the main floor, electric fireplaces, and natural oak staircases. Flooring materials include ceramic tile and 35-ounce carpeting.
The builder has installed upgraded features in many units - in some cases up to $30,000 worth, including such things as hardwood flooring in the principal rooms, appliances and wrought-iron railings.
There will be a monthly condo fee of $125 to cover snow removal and street maintenance, but it will be waived for the first two years as a bonus.
Local amenities include shops and services at Vaughan Mills, a Colossus multiplex theatre and Canada's Wonderland. The site is also close to schools, golf courses and highways 400 and 407.
