So the second time, another agent had the vacant space cleaned and staged in preparation for an open house, which brought in two-dozen visitors on a stormy day. By the third week, an offer was signed off.

“They don’t all have walkout basements, so it was nice that a walkout was available [here].”
The home’s address was also a key feature to many shoppers renting locally. “It’s got lots of facilities close by,” Ms. Hagerty adds. “It’s close to transit and grocery stores, but pretty much everything you want is within five- to 10-minutes away.”
