The Action: In the Concord CityPlace development by the Rogers Centre, this three-bedroom penthouse was a much bigger and pricier property than the average suite available. So it was relisted and reduced from $1.195-million to $1.095-million to revive interest among buyers and tempt one into negotiating a deal.
What They Got: On the upper level of a highrise in the Harbour View Estates community, this 1,935-square-foot suite bears the latest finishes and features, such as 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors throughout and walls of windows facing north and east.
The layout is modern with an open living and dining area with a balcony and an island to separate the cooking quarters, but three private bedrooms, two of which have full bathrooms and the larger one with a walk-in closet.
A third bathroom, en suite laundry facilities, a locker and two parking spots complement the suite, which is bound by monthly fees of $1,126 for utilities, recreation and fitness facilities.
The Agent’s Take : “It’s one of the biggest units in the CityPlace complex and the top of the price ranges in that area, but it does offer three bedrooms, which is a unique feature for a condominium in Toronto,” says agent Boris Kholodov.
“It was a corner unit and it overlooked the SkyDome, so that was a selling feature for some visitors.”
The vast amount of space reserved for common areas was also a perk. “The complex has about 30,000-square-feet of facilities and amenities, including a large swimming pool, a full-sized gym and many other features,” Mr. Kholodov adds.
