In a town 30 minutes north of Toronto, The Daniels Corp. promises idyllic views at a low-rise development bounded on four sides by natural ravines and valley land, as well as the manicured fairways of an 18-hole golf course.

But buyers don't have to take the builder's word for it. They can see for themselves at one of five on-site model homes completed for the project launch earlier this fall.

"Looking out the windows and from every vantage point we can see lush, mature landscape, which is fairly unique especially in a community that is brand new," says vice-president Don Pugh. "You don't have to wait 15 or 20 years for the trees to grow or for that view to be there. And of course, for people who want to be close to a golf course, it's fantastic, and the views of the golf course are fantastic."

Starting September, 2011, buyers can move into the community where construction has begun on the promontory of land that will house 74 condominium town manors overlooking St. Andrew's Valley Golf Club, southwest of Bayview Avenue and Mulock Drive.

"This beautiful, high piece of ground is transforming into a very exclusive community," says Mr. Pugh.

Although these two-storey residences will have a remote, secluded setting within an established neighbourhood in Newmarket, homeowners will be minutes from city attractions, like shops and restaurants on Bayview Avenue and Yonge Street, in addition to malls, schools, parks and the Magna Centre recreation complex.

Highway 404, the Newmarket GO bus terminal and Aurora GO train station nearby also offer different methods to commute into the GTA. Befitting of its esteemed locale, models will be dressed with tumbled clay brick, gables and wood shaker tiles, along with large windows, front porches and single or double garages. There will be rear patios and decks off the main living areas, as well as walkouts from the lower level in some plans.

Inside, there will be 2,500 to more than 3,000 square feet of living space, including two or three bedrooms, grand living rooms, formal dining rooms, gourmet kitchens and family rooms, plus finished basements in most models.

"You get all the living space of a single, but you get the lifestyle of a condominium," says Mr. Pugh, noting that monthly fees will only be $160.
