LISTING AGENTS Jillian Koplowitz and Melissa Smeets, HomeLife/Realty One Ltd.

The Action: Late last year, this semi-detached house in Leslieville had over 150 buyers swing by during two weekend open houses. That exposure alone prompted a few visitors to draft a bid on the offer date.

What They Got: This two-storey brick home on a leafy Leslieville street has maintained many of its 20th-century details, such as a wide front porch, tall baseboards and tin ceilings in the kitchen. There's a walkout to the rear deck, fenced yard and a detached double garage.

The layout remains traditional with formal living and dining rooms on the main floor and three bedrooms on the second floor, plus a partially finished basement with a second full bathroom.

The Agent's Take: "This house was 107 years old, so it has some original features, like the tin ceiling, and it hasn't been gutted inside like a lot of east-end homes," says agent Melissa Smeets. The home also served as a shooting locale for a recent TV production. "It had been used in an episode of Bomb Girls because it still has division between the living room and dining room."
