LISTING AGENTS Jeff, Mark, Norah and Paul Oulahen, Re/Max Realtron Realty Inc.

The Action: Across from Edithvale Community Centre and Park in North York, this two-storey condominium townhouse in the Chelsea Gate complex sold for close to list price after recording more than 50 visitors either arranging private showings or taking a tour during an open house.

What They Got: In the late 1990s, two and four-storey units were constructed on top of one another, including this roughly 1,100-square-foot model with direct access to the street. Parking is located in an underground garage with a monthly $420 fee. Inside, there are open living and dining areas with laminate floors and a separate kitchen outfitted with ceramic, Caesarstone and glass tiles and stainless steel appliances. Private quarters upstairs consist of laundry facilities and two bedrooms, including one with a balcony and entry to one of two bathrooms.

The Agent's Take: "It's at a condominium price point, but it's not your average condo. It's a stacked townhouse with separate living on two floors … and it also has direct access to parking below, which is nice," says agent Mark Oulahen. "[Plus] it's across the street from a nice new community centre." This particular unit was memorable for its interior appearance. "The owners did new countertops, backsplashes and appliances, so it was a little nicer than the rest," Mr. Oulahen adds.
