LISTING AGENTS Jenelle Cameron, Laura Golbeck and Miranda McKenna, Re/Max Hallmark Realty Ltd.

The Action: As the only property for sale in a small pocket of the Junction Triangle this fall, this three-bedroom rowhouse had prospective buyers' undivided attention. Thus, 30 serious shoppers conducted private tours during the week leading up to the offer date and a bidding war ensued.

What They Got: For two years, the owners remodelled this 1940s rowhouse with modern mechanics and fashionable finishes, as simple as hardwood floors in the living and dining areas and as complex as overhauling the bathroom upstairs and a main-floor kitchen with ceramic backlashes, high-end appliances and entry to a laundry room addition with a walkout to the west-facing deck.

Large storage spaces include a full basement and parking at the back of the 15-by-87-foot lot off a laneway.

The Agent's Take: "There are a lot of these type of rowhouses, but it's almost like a semi because it's on the end," agent Jenelle Cameron says. "This one also had nice renovations done to it, too."

Plus, chances to move onto this street occur just a few times a year."It's on a dead-end part of the street, so that was helpful; people liked that," Ms. Cameron says. "The price point is good and it's in an up-and-coming neighbourhood undergoing a lot of regeneration in the last couple of years. And it's very close to the subway and Bloor."
