LISTING AGENT Elli Davis, Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd.

The Action: In little more than a week's time, eight buyers inspected this three-bedroom-plus-solarium suite, which was only one of a few units available in the brick building across from the Manulife Centre downtown.

What They Got: On the 10th floor of an over 30-year-old high-rise, this nearly 2,100-square-foot unit features three bedrooms, a solarium, living and dining areas and an eat-in kitchen polished off with wood flooring.

Creature comforts include a walk-in closet and one of two full bathrooms in the master suite, a laundry room, ensuite storage and underground parking.

Each month, $1,793 covers the tab for water, concierge and valet services and a second-floor gym, pool, party room and terrace.

The Agent's Take: "It did require some renovation, but it had a great west view and the space offered was very large compared to some of the new products on the market today," agent Elli Davis said. "In 1166 [Bay], there are five units per floor and all the units are approximately 2,000 square feet and over."

Buyers also liked luxuries located throughout the building. "The amenities are great," Ms. Davis said. "They have valet parking, which is quite unique in this day and age … and 24-hour security."
