LISTING AGENTS Susan Tallarico and Rita Auciello, Sutton Group-Old Mill Realty Inc.

The Action: About 15 showings were arranged for this detached, brick residence just a few blocks north of shops, eateries and subway on Bloor Street.

What They Got: This more than 60-year-old house is ideal for entertaining with four-car parking, a living room with a gas fireplace and a formal dining room one of several walkouts to the 58- by 152-foot grounds, plus a main-floor family room and lower-level recreation room with a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen was recently renovated, along with all three bathrooms. There are three bedrooms on the second floor to retire and retreat to, as well as a fourth in the basement.

The Agent's Take: "The home was very nicely maintained and updated, but it's not large – it's a three-bedroom home – in the older part of the Kingsway," agent Rita Auciello said. "A feature that was nice was a walkout basement, which you don't see that too much in older homes." The lot also has some extras others lack. "The property itself was quite beautiful with big oak trees on it," adds Ms. Auciello. "It had a double driveway so you could park a few cars, which is valuable in this area because most are small and short."
