DigitalJounal.com is Canada's very own citizen journalism website. Developed by Christopher Hogg, its current editor-in-chief, DigitalJournal.com is one of very few citizen journalism sites online that pays its citizen journalists. The site has seen significant growth since its launch in 2006 solely through word-of-mouth. With over 60% of its market outside of Canada, DigitalJournal.com truly represents the new breed of Web 2.0 applications for online media. Reporter Rosa Park talked to Hogg about how DigitalJournal.com has garnered such a following on the web.
