Tim Rowley is the National Academic Director of the Institute for Corporate Directors' various Governance Programs, developing and overseeing governance training for over 700 directors in four Canadian cities. As the Director of the Clarkson Centre for Board Effectiveness, Tim has examined board governance practices in Canada, created a board effectiveness monitoring and grading system which is the basis of the Report of Business' annual "Board Games" reports, and advised various organizations, including the Ontario Securities Commission and Industry Canada, on the state of governance in Canada. He is a faculty member at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and teaches courses in Strategic Management at the MBA and Executive MBA levels.
