But the cost of making that change can scare some smaller companies away and give martyr status to the bigger ones that do make the leap to sustainable practices. The idea that being sustainable can make economic sense is, however, becoming more popular. SAP, an enterprise software company, is working on communicating how sustainability is actually a profit issue. Experts from the company will discuss sustainability as a business strategy and how smaller organizations can benefit from going green.
