How Halifax bouncer became celebrity protector Add to ...

Welcome to the fifth in a monthly series of Google+ Hangout interviews with small-business owners and operators from across Canada.

Report on Small Business editor Sean Stanleigh was joined Nov. 23, 2012 by Ron Lovett, the president and CEO of Halifax-based Source Security & Investigations Inc., to discuss his business and its operations, and to outline some of the unique benefits and challenges of operating in Nova Scotia.

Founded in 2002, Source Security cuts its teeth in the world of concerts, events and nightclubs. It now offers a wider range of security services across the country, in several industries, but says its “cool factor” remains intact. Over the years, the company has protected several celebrity clients.
