What makes an entrepreneur successful?

That question formed the basis of a discussion with W. Brett Wilson, a judge on the popular CBC program Dragons' Den, and a successful entrepreneur in his own right.

Want to start your own venture? Is entrepreneurship the right fit for you? Is it about genetics, passion, or simply a great idea? And where should you start if you need help?

During a webcast in front of a studio audience in Toronto, Mr. Wilson took questions from three members of the media, including Globe and Mail reporter David Parkinson. The event took place at the Toronto Board of Trade.

Short clips from the show can be viewed below:

Part One: An entrepreneur's biggest character flaw. "If you know everything, you know nothing," says Mr. Wilson.

Part Two: How important is it to be in the know? If you're a new entrepreneur, just starting out, what's more important: who you know or what you know?

Part Three: If you're thinking about starting your own business, you've got to be have drive. ' Do it with passion or don't do it,' says Mr. Wilson.

Part Four: Hot opportunities for entrepreneurs. Find out which industries are blowing up in Canada.
