Robert Dawson, the owner and operator of Top Search Result and a full-time graduate student at the University of Prince Edward Island, was recently named the 2011 Student Entrepreneur Prince Edward Island Champion by charitable organization Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE).
In 2008, the 25-year-old Mr. Dawson started Top Search Result, an on-line marketing company specializing in helping other companies with search-engine marketing and managing their social media presence.
Mr. Dawson, who is now working on an MBA, managed to get clients across the country, earned enough from his business to pay for his university education and hire an intern, and became certified as a “Google Adwords Qualified Professional."
