Casimir hires Yeung for oil research Add to ...

The growing firm of Casimir Capital has added a new energy analyst.

Michael Yeung, who covered names like DeeThree Exploration and NAL Energy at Stonecap Securities, is heading to Casimir to take the job as head of energy research.

Prior to his stint at Stonecap, which lasted only about a year, Mr. Yeung was an associate analyst at Clarus Securities.

Casimir late last year garnered a dealer membership in the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and on the TSX, and the firm has been adding bankers to do bigger deals.

Adam Thomas joined about six months in Calgary as Casimir's oil and gas banker. Mr. Thomas is also a veteran of Clarus.
