The capital markets unit of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce hired three new bankers who will focus on index and option products.
The bank has been building up what it calls its financial solutions group, which offers products pitched to clients as risk-management tools.
In New York, Kathy Brady Kriskey and Susan Palmer, joined as Executive Directors.
Ms. Brady Kriskey worked at a money manager selling commodity asset management products. She has 22 years of experience in commodity markets, CIBC said.
Ms. Palmer was most recently in commodities investor sales to private investors and high net worth clients of an investment management firm in New York, CIBC said. She has a dozen years experience in capital markets.
They will be focused at CIBC on developing commodity index products and selling them to big money managers.
In Toronto, Mario Cianfarani joins as a director. He will focus on equity derivatives sales.
