The Canadian Real Estate Association is expected to report o existing-home sales in January. Economists expect unit sales to be 7.5 per cent below year-earlier levels, and prices to be unchanged.

Statistics Canada reports on manufacturing sales in December. Economists expect a monthly increase of 0.5 per cent.

Canada’s Multiple Listing Services will release its home price index for January. Prices are expected to have increased 3.1 per cent from a year ago.

The U.S. Federal Reserve Board reports on industrial production and capacity utilization in January. Economists expect production to rise 0.2 per cent, and capacity utilization at 78.9 per cent.
