Mark Carney, the incoming chief of the U.K.'s central bank and current Governor of the Bank of Canada, got his first chance to discuss his plans for the British economy when he was questioned by British lawmakers. Carney takes over from Mervyn King at the start of July. Joanna Partridge reports
