Job creation in the U.S. jumped to a five-month high in July, up 163,000 compared to expectations of a net gain of 100,000, according to the Labor Department. The unemployment rate, however, also ticked up to 8.3 per cent from 8.2 per cent. Reuters takes a closer look at what economic challenges the U.S. continues to face, even with the positive job creation numbers.
