It was the vehicle that was supposed to revolutionise the Indian auto market. Branded as the world's cheapest car, the Nano was launched by Tata Motors in 2008 amidst an absolute frenzy. But three years on, the Nano has failed to crack the Indian market despite costing just $2,500 (U.S.)
