CHESS

Georgi Orlov sailed through tough opposition to win the 28th annual Keres Memorial tournament in Vancouver. The International Master from Seattle became the first ever to notch a perfect score, 7-0, in this event honouring Paul Keres, the Estonian Grandmaster whose last tournament was Vancouver 1975.
