The deck is stacked . . ....against us
I fumed when I read the article in these pages earlier this week by Jon Kelly of the Responsible Gambling Council of Ontario. While Mr. Kelly describes his council as "a non-profit organization funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care," the council, which doles out advice to problem gamblers, is hardly as benevolent as it sounds.
