Globe scrambled to put out a paper

Canada's national newspaper scrambled yesterday to get the paper to its readers, despite losing almost all power to its editorial offices on Front Street in downtown Toronto.The power failure hit just as The Globe and Mail's senior editors were meeting to decide what story to put on the front page of today's paper -- a decision that was made for them the instant the power quit.
