Show me the way to my habitual abode

I have switched cities more often than a computer geek claims to have found the perfect game. Following an uneventful birth in Toronto, my mom took my sister and me on a pan-Canadian moving spree across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut and Quebec. At 17, I continued the trend, moving to Montreal to attend Concordia University, then packing my bags for university and job opportunities in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York and, now, San Francisco. Once again I find myself in the position of seeking out where to fix boots and get keys cut, learning which are the outstanding sushi venues and which are merely overrated yuppie ones, and correlating, on an Excel spreadsheet, which doctors match up with my health plan.
