When CSI: Crime Scene Investigation creator Anthony Zuiker was casting his forensic thriller, CBS asked him to sit down and have a chat with William (Billy) Petersen.Zuiker admits he didn't have a clue who Petersen was. He didn't know, for instance, that the Chicago native was the acclaimed star of eighties cult flicks such as William Friedkin's To Live and Die in L.A. and Michael Mann's Manhunter.
