Caribbean group withholds recognition for Haiti
Basseterre, St. Kitts -- The 15-nation Caribbean Community withheld recognition yesterday for Haiti's new U.S.-backed government amid continuing concern over the departure of ousted president Jean-Bertrand Aristide, senior Caribbean officials said.
