Pro-democracy protest as Nepal turns violent

Kathmandu -- Nepalese police fired tear gas at pro-democracy demonstrators and beat them with canes yesterday in the fourth day of protests against King Gyanendra. Police said about a dozen officers were injured by stones thrown at them.
