Svend Robinson's real problem may be that he just didn't get caught soon enough.This is not for a moment to suggest that the member of Parliament for Burnaby Douglas (currently on leave) has had his hand in the till. He has not -- for that matter, he belongs to a party, the New Democrats, that has never been near the federal cash register. It is just to say that there is sometimes a great benefit to be had in screwing up earlier in life rather than later.
