Former Martin aide denies patronage charges
OTTAWA -- The woman who was Paul Martin's most senior aide and closest confidante for years stepped forward yesterday to issue a blanket denial of charges that she tried to sway contracts to Earnscliffe Strategy Group, a firm with close ties to Mr. Martin.
