NAFTA ruling buoys case against U.S.

OTTAWA; WASHINGTON -- Canada scored a clear victory yesterday in a NAFTA legal ruling that goes to the heart of the softwood lumber dispute.The North American free-trade agreement panel ruled that the United States had failed to prove that Canadian lumber imports are harming the U.S. industry.
