Bright light, big city

David Bezmozgis may be the biggest next big thing that the North American publishing scene has witnessed in a long time, but that doesn't mean he has all the trappings of fame. He might be living in an understated part of the tony Forest Hill enclave of Toronto but, at the moment, he doesn't have a land line, barely a stick of his own furniture and he's resorted to going to his parents' house to use their computer to check his e-mail.
