Ames finally wins on PGA Tour
Stephen Ames has said all year that he's learned to commit himself to every shot. He certainly did that yesterday while winning his first PGA Tour event. Ames, a 40-year-old resident of Calgary who was born in Trinidad and became a Canadian citizen on Dec. 12, won the Cialis Western Open in Lemont, Ill., by two shots over Steve Lowery.
