Panthers embodied the turbulent Sixties in the U.S.

They are known as the turbulent and incendiary Sixties: youthful protest and revolution, the Vietnam War, the assassination of a President, the early signs of a women's liberation movement, civil-rights marches, rioting at a Democratic convention and the start of the Nixon era.
