One angry editor

Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter's book assaulting the Bush regime is titled What We've Lost: Bush's War on Democracy and Freedom. That's fine, except that the publisher in this country is Random House Canada. Repeat: Random House Canada: So what's with the big "we"? Bush is not, at least not directly, warring on Canadian freedoms. It's a title that's bound to have cultural nationalists who complain about big Canadian publishers being U.S. branch plants screaming, "Aha! Told you so."
