Oil's surge sparks economic concerns

Economists are worried about higher oil prices, but they have stopped short of predicting they will lead to a recession.Aron Gampel, deputy chief economist at Bank of Nova Scotia, is marking down his global forecast for economic growth next year to 4 per cent from the range of 4 to 4.25 per cent.
