Canada's big emitters brace for investment climate change

CALGARY -- It was a chilling moment in the week of global warming.On Monday -- two days before the Kyoto environmental accord took effect -- the largest pension fund in the United States signed on to the Carbon Disclosure Project, joining a group of institutional investors that are wielding their tens of trillions in assets to browbeat the world's biggest corporations into spelling out the risk that greenhouse gas emissions pose to their profits.
