No industrialist made more of an impact on British Columbia than the tough, driven visionary, H. R. MacMillan. His corporate might dominated the economy of the province, particularly on Vancouver Island, for much of the 20th century. He has been rightly hailed as the greatest entrepreneur in B.C. history.
