Luxury-apartment scandal forces Czech PM to resign
Prague -- Czech Prime Minister Stanislav Gross resigned along with his government yesterday, finally releasing his grip on power after a scandal related to the financing of his luxury Prague apartment.Within hours, President Vaclav Klaus announced the appointment of former housing minister Jiri Paroubek to lead the ruling coalition.
